What Is Digital Signage?
Digital signage provides a flexible, engaging method of communicating information to guests and employees. Imagine welcoming visitors by name in your open space lobby, or announcing the details of a company picnic in the employee training room. It doesn't stop there though - digital signage can be utilized for content such as calendars, news, wayfinding, weather, emergency broadcasts, general announcements, advertisements, and video, all rotating on a flexible schedule that can easily be changed whenever necessary.

How Does it Work?
All in all, a digital signage system presents content on some form of digital display, outdoor LED board, video wall, projector, or computer monitor. Content is served up by a player unit that may be embedded in the display or positioned in a rack. The player unit typically sits on your network so you can plan, design and schedule from a central content management system, which is the brains of your signage system that instructs the player units to follow a content schedule.
